These sculptures are about cultures in revolution, removed from the boundaries of time and geography and the armoring of the individual as he struggles to find his place. Some armor themselves with stubbornness and resistance, clinging to old ideas. Others choose to follow the change protected by flexible armor that can be put aside as they adapt.
